There's only one engine option available for the Avalon. Thankfully, though, this 3.5-liter V6 is about as good as it gets.
Joining with a six-speed automatic gearbox, the V6 makes a muscular 268 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. It gets front-wheel drive by default.
We're quite fond of the Avalon's fuel efficiency, too, as it's estimated to achieve 24 mpg combined (21 city/30 highway).
