Toyota Motor North America Research and Development (TMNA R&D) recently committed to doubling its support for Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley (Habitat Huron Valley) by fun ding full house renovations -- a total of $80,000 -- for two Ypsilanti-area single mothers.

Since 2007, TMNA R&D has helped build or renovate 11 homes in Ypsilanti, donating more than $386,000 and 17,000 employee volunteer hours to Habitat Huron Valley. This year, more than 300 volunteers will donate 1,800 hours to help renovate the two homes. Also, Toyota Motor North America Research and Development has had a representative serve on the Habitat Huron Valley Board of Directors and additional committees In each of the last 5 years.
